A group of teenage boys have been charged with multiple offences following an investigation into vehicle interference in Canterbury.

Police have been carrying out enquiries following reports of cars being broken into in Wincheap and other areas of the city in November 2024.

PC Georgia England said:

‘We always listen to community concerns and do anything in our power to tackle any issues raised.

‘We understand the difficulty caused to residents when cars are broken into and items stolen and we will continue to work to bring anyone involved before the courts.

‘I encourage motorists to ensure their cars are securely locked when left, with nothing on show inside, and, where possible, parked in well-lit areas covered by CCTV.’
