Two arrested in connection with multiple keyless car thefts in Kent

A number of thefts occurred between September 24th and 26th, with vehicles stolen from homes in Whitstable and Rochester.

Following an investigation, Kent Police executed warrants in Grays, Essex on November 7th, leading to the arrests of a man aged, 44, and another, aged 35.

During the search, officers seized blank car keys, tools, electronic equipment, multiple mobile phones, cash, and cannabis. Both men were charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, possession of criminal property, and possession of a class B drug.

The 44-year-old was remanded in custody and appeared before West Kent Magistrates’ Court on November 8th, while the man aged 35 was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on the same day.
