Sarah Thrall, Littlestone Lifeboat Station’s Family Support Volunteer, organised an afternoon of Halloween fun with a pumpkin carving session for the children of the station’s volunteers.

Limetree Farm at Brookland kindly donated the pumpkins for the afternoon of creativity and invention and the boathouse was decorated in spooky decor, with ghostly forms and creepy silhouettes while children of the crew got stuck in with their pumpkins and great fun was had by all.

Sarah said:

‘A great time was had by all who attended. It’s so important getting everyone together as part of one crew and the lifeboat family. Family members do so much to support our volunteers to save lives at sea and this is the station’s chance to say a heartfelt thank you to them!’
