North Kent Police crack down on shoplifting with one woman jailed for 180 days

North Kent Police have arrested and charged several individuals involved in shoplifting incidents across the area.

In one incident, a woman was sentenced to 180 days in prison for stealing alcohol and assaulting a shop worker. Another woman was charged with multiple thefts after stealing food and alcohol from a supermarket.

In a separate case, a man was detained for allegedly stealing alcohol from a convenience store. Local police have vowed to continue their efforts to combat retail theft and protect businesses and their employees.
