A man has been charged following the seizure of suspected class A drugs in Margate.
On the evening of 2 October, officers at a property on Addington Street detained a 37-year-old man acting suspiciously. A search revealed cannabis, scales, money, mobile phones, and a bag believed to contain heroin and crack cocaine.
The man, from Mitcham, was charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of a class B drug, and possession of criminal property. He is set to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 4 October.
A 44-year-old woman arrested at the scene was released without charge.
