Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a van reportedly rammed multiple vehicles on the A2 near Gravesend. The incident occurred at around 9:50 AM on Tuesday, 17 September 2024, on the London-bound carriageway near the Gravesend Central junction.
The vehicle involved, a white Ford Transit Connect van, continued onto the M25 after the collisions. Officers responded promptly and arrested a 38-year-old man from Rochester near the Dartford River Crossing. The van was seized, and the suspect has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a silver Transit van, which was also damaged in the incident but whose driver has not yet been contacted.
