Maidstone Police Station

A man and a woman have been arrested in Maidstone on suspicion of selling stolen goods in the town centre following a tip-off from CCTV operators on the evening of Thursday, 12th September 2024.

Patrol officers responded to reports of suspicious activity near Bank Street and seized quantities of meat, cheese, and chocolate. The items are believed to have been stolen from one or more Co-op stores.

At approximately 5:30pm, a 43-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were taken into custody on suspicion of theft. The investigation is ongoing.
