Two burglars who broke into homes in Cherry Garden Avenue on April 30 and May 17, 2024, smashing patio doors and stealing jewellery and designer items have each been jailed for four years.

Kent Police linked a black Nissan Note to the crimes, leading to their arrest in east London on June 27. Inside the car, officers found burglary tools. Both men admitted to the burglaries and were sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court on September 10.

Detective Constable Casey Prior emphasized the impact of such crimes on victims and praised the investigation’s swift resolution.
