On Sunday 8 September 2024, Kent Police received reports of a two-vehicle collision in Maidstone Road, Marden at around 3.40pm, involving a white Fiat Panda and a green Kawasaki motorcycle.
Police attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service, where the motorbike rider, a man in his 50s, was pronounced deceased. His next of kin have been informed.

Motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
