A suspected Thanet thief is to appear in court next month.
As part of an investigation by Kent Police into thefts in the district, officers arrested and charged a woman on Thursday 22 August 2024 with three offences.
She is suspected of stealing a jacket worth £185 from a vehicle in Margate’s High Street on 16 June. The woman is also accused of stealing from a supermarket in College Walk, Margate on two occasions, on 27 July and 5 August. Items reported stolen were said to be worth an estimated combined total of £205.
The 27-year-old from Margate, was released on bail to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 5 September.
