At around 3.55pm on Friday 21 June 2024, a man entered a residential property in Parkfield near Wildernesse Golf Club and assaulted a woman, which left her with injuries to her face. He then stole several items, including jewellery, before leaving.

It is believed the suspect rode a bicycle and officers are continuing to seek dashcam footage, which may show his movements. Detectives are urging motorists to help them as they seek to identify a suspect on a bicycle wearing a high visibility vest.

They have identified a number of roads he may have used and drivers are asked to check for any footage between 3pm and 6.30pm, on routes leading to surrounding areas including Underriver, Riverhill, Bitchet Green and Hildenborough.

Detectives are particularly keen to review dashcam footage from journeys made in Park Lane, in the vicinity of the Buck’s Head pub and Sevenoaks Preparatory School, at around 4.50pm. Residents with CCTV and doorbell cameras should also check for video which may assist the investigation.

Anyone with information should call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/102682/24. Dashcam, CCTV and doorbell camera footage can be uploaded through an online portal here.  If you would prefer to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, or by using the online form.
