It was reported that between the evening of Friday 7 June and the early hours of Saturday 8 June 2024, telecom wires were cut in nine locations across the city, including Heaton Road, Bishops Way, Beaconsfield Road, Hardy Road, Forty Acres Road, Westgate Court Avenue, Beverley Road, and New Ruttington Lane.

Between the evening of Tuesday 11 June and the following morning, seven more telegraph poles were found damaged, in Squire Avenue, Shipman Avenue and Wife of Bath Hill.

Anyone who was in those areas at the time and saw anything suspicious is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/96238/24.

People who have private CCTV, doorbell footage or dashcam footage taken in any of those areas, which might assist the investigation, can also upload it here.
