An investigation by Kent Police has seen an Ashford man charged with stalking offences.

On Friday 7 June 2024 police carried out proactive enquiries as part of a Stalking Protection Order previously imposed on the man.

Following checks, he was arrested and a subsequent investigation led to him being charged with stalking, four breaches of a restraining order and five breaches of an interim Stalking Protection Order.

The 54-year-old from Willesborough, appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 8 June and was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 8 July.
