Man who allegedly behaved indecently on a bench in Canterbury has been charged

A man is to appear in court charged with outraging public decency in Canterbury after police received a report that a member of the public had seen a man behaving indecently on a bench.

Officers went to Kingsmead Road on Sunday 12 May 2024.

A man aged 43 from Canterbury was charged on Tuesday 14 May with one count of outraging public decency. He was bailed with conditions to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Friday 14 June.
