Kent Police say that catapults and more than 60 ball bearings were seized from two boys in Paddock Wood following reports the weapons were being used to target wildlife.

Police were called at around 2.20pm on Friday 19 April 2024, to concerns the catapults were being used near Putlands Sports Centre. It is alleged they had also been aimed at car windows.

The boys’ parents have been contacted and an investigation into the circumstances is ongoing. Anyone with information which may assist the investigation should contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 19-0732.
