Kent Police officers have arrested a man following an assault in Folkestone of an as yet unknown victim on Saturday afternoon.
Kent Police received reports at around 5.20pm on Saturday 20 April 2024 that a man had struck another man with a blunt object, near to the junction of Bradstone Road and Clarence Street, but the victim had left the scene.
On Monday 22 April, officers arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. He was later bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
The victim has not yet come forward and officers continue to appeal for anyone with relevant information to contact them, quoting reference 46/64070/24. Alternatively, people are asked to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete their online form.
