It is reported a woman was shoved to the ground when a man tried to snatch her phone in an attempted robbery whilst she walked through Clare Park near Tonbridge Road in Maidstone.

After falling to the ground, the victim kicked out at the suspect who left the scene empty handed.

The incident is alleged to have happened at around 1.30pm on Sunday 10 March 2024.

A computer-generated image has been issued by officers investigating the reported attempted robbery in Maidstone.

Police were called to the scene and an investigation has now led to the creation of an e-fit image of the suspect, shown above, who was around 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a hooded top. He had a tattoo on the top part of his hand which showed a rose with very detailed green leaves.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them. Nearby residents with doorbell cameras and CCTV are also asked to check for any important footage.
