Witnesses and dashcam footage are being sought following a fatal collision on the A252 Canterbury Road, close to the junction with Monkery Lane, Challock near Ashford at 6.50am on Wednesday 10 April 2024.
A trailer which was being pulled by a white Iveco flatbed van travelling towards Charing, is reported to have become detached and collided with a blue Ford Transit van being driven in the opposite direction. Emergency services arrived but the driver of the Ford Transit, a man in his 50s, was confirmed deceased at the scene.
