Police patrols who spotted a vehicle, allegedly stolen from Bluewater, driving on Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, at around 10.20pm on Tuesday 26 March 2024, requested the driver to stop, but he failed to do so.
During a short pursuit the vehicle collided with a patrol car, before coming to a halt on Red Hill, Wateringbury. A subsequent search led to the seizure of tools and suspected stolen number plates.
Two boys, aged 16 and 15 both from the Maidstone area, were arrested on suspicion of offences including theft of a motor vehicle. Both have since been bailed until 15 July, pending further enquiries.
