Kent Police received a call on the morning of Saturday 16 March 2024 to report that a premises on Beauchamp Road, Deal had been broken into overnight, and that electrical items and cash had been taken.
An investigation was launched by Dover’s Victim Based Crime Team and on the evening of 16 March, officers made an arrest nearby. A quantity of cannabis was also seized.
A 19-year-old man from the town was later charged with burglary and possession of a class B drug and remanded to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 28 March.
