Two teenage suspects have been held by police investigating a string of burglaries in the Dover area.
Between Wednesday, March 20, and Sunday, March 24, 2024, three homes and a shed around the Whitfield area were allegedly broken into. The incidents resulted in the theft of various items, including a car, jewellery, and electrical goods.
As part of an ongoing inquiry into these offences, an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody in Dover on suspicion of burglary during the morning of Tuesday, March 26. Both suspects have been released on bail while further investigations are conducted, and authorities are seeking information from the public.
