Kent Police responded to a report of a serious assault in Adelaide Drive, Sittingbourne at around 3.55pm on Friday 23 March 2024. South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called and transported a teenage girl to a London hospital with injuries consistent with a stab wound. She remains in hospital in a stable condition.
A 12-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.
An investigation is ongoing and officers are urging witnesses or anyone with information about the incident, including those with CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
