A number of people are facing charges related to cocaine supply offences following the execution of eight simultaneous search warrants in the Medway area.
The searches were carried out by police from the force’s County Lines and Gangs Team at properties in Rainham and Gillingham on Friday, March 15, 2024. A further search warrant was executed at an address in Hampshire. These enforcement actions are part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of class A drugs throughout Medway.
A total of eight people were arrested in the operation in which officers also seized cash, cannabis and cocaine with an estimated street value of £80,000.
The suspects appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where they were conditionally bailed. Their next hearing will be at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 15 April. A 46-year-old woman from Gillingham who was also arrested has been released on bail until 14 June, pending further investigation.
