A suspect is to appear in court following reports that multiple post-boxes were damaged in the Dartford area. The incidents involving the use of spray paint, happened between Wednesday 31 January and Saturday 9 March 2024.

Officers from the Dartford Community Safety Unit initially arrested a man on Tuesday 13 February, and he was subsequently bailed pending further enquiries. He was further arrested on Saturday 9 March following a report of another incident.

The man, from Dartford, was later charged by investigators from the North Kent Victim Based Crime Team, with criminal damage to 37 post-boxes.

The 33-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 11 March.
