Body of man found in west Kent countryside

Kent Police have reported that the body of a man was found in countryside near Leigh shortly after midday on Thursday 29 February 2024.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of an 23-year-old man who had been reported missing from Tunbridge Wells on Wednesday 28 February, have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
