Investigators are appealing for witnesses after two reported assaults at Medway Hospital.

Kent Police was called at around 11.35pm on Tuesday 13 February 2024, to a disturbance at the hospital premises in Windmill Road, Gillingham. When they arrived on the scene two men in their 40s and 50s were being treated for injuries.

A 22-year-old man from Thamesmead, London was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into custody and an investigation was launched into the circumstances. Police are urging witnesses who have not yet spoken to them to contact the appeal line. They would like to hear from anybody who wishes to report they were also assaulted during the incident.
