Gillingham man appears in court after jewellery reported stolen from High Halstow home

On Thursday 8 February 2024, a High Halstow resident returned home to find their property had been burgled and a number of items were missing.

Police were alerted and an investigation was commenced by detectives from the Kent Crime Squad.

On Friday 9 February a man was arrested. Officers also recovered jewellery from three separate locations. A man from Gillingham was later charged with burglary. The 45-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on the following day. He was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 4 March.
