A man and a woman have been killed while out walking their dog near Maidstone when they were hit by a car.
The incident occurred on Saturday 20 January 2024 at around 1.45pm when a black BMW X5 collided with two pedestrians who were walking a dog in Thurnham Lane, near Bearsted.
Kent Police attended the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service where both pedestrians, a man and a woman together with the dog, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
A spokesman said the driver remained at the scene and no arrests were made.
