A woman has reported being sexually assaulted on the beach in Dover, Kent, after she had a conversation with a man in Market Square on Tuesday night, 7 November 2023.
The victim reported the offence to Kent Police, who said it happened at around 8.30pm on Marine Parade.
Detectives arrested a 47-year-old man from Dover on Thursday, 9 November, in connection with the sexual assault.
He has been released on bail with conditions while the investigation continues.
