Police have arrested two men who were allegedly caught on CCTV breaking into vehicles in Swanley in the early morning of Wednesday 20 September 2023.

The suspects were spotted around 3.00am trying to open car doors and trespassing on people’s properties. They were quickly identified and located by officers using CCTV footage and arrested in Bevan Place, Swanley.

Police also recovered some items believed to be stolen, including a backpack and a new pair of Nike trainers.

Police are now asking residents and drivers to check their doorbell cameras and dashcams for any signs of suspicious activity.

The two men arrested were later released on bail with conditions, until 19 December, pending further enquiries.
