Kent Police has reported an incident at around 6.20pm on Saturday 10 June 2023 in which the victim, who is in his 20s, was approached by three men in Main Road, where it is alleged he was punched and stamped upon.

One of the suspects is also reported to have lunged at him with a knife. The victim suffered injuries to his face, head and back that required hospital treatment.

PC Stuart Drakeley, of Sittingbourne CID, said: ‘Our extensive enquiries including examination of CCTV footage and house-to-house checks, have led us to interview two potential suspects, both local men in their 20s. They remain under investigation.

‘We have not yet been able to identify the third suspect. We have spoken to several witnesses and now believe there may be other people with important information who are yet to come forward.’
