On 27 May 2023, Kent Police received reports that two cars in Cherry Tree Road, Tunbridge Wells had been damaged after they were kicked and stamped on. Further damage was caused to a van door and a wall at a nearby property, after an item was allegedly thrown at them.

Officers investigated the incidents and later went to an address in Tonbridge where a door had also been damaged.

A suspect was arrested in Greenfrith Drive, Tonbridge and taken into custody. A quantity of cannabis was also seized.

On Thursday 24 August, a 21-year-old, of no fixed address, was charged by officers from the West Kent Victim Based Crime Team with five counts of criminal damage and possession of a class B drug.

The man was conditionally bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 21 September.
