A man has been arrested for allegedly crashing into a woman’s car repeatedly in Otford. The incident occurred on Sunday 16 July 2023, between 5pm and 7pm, in Rye Lane.

The woman was driving a red Fiat 500 towards Pilgrims Way West, when a man in a grey Peugeot 208 hit her vehicle several times. The man and the woman are believed to know each other.

The police arrested a 20-year-old man from Kemsing on Wednesday 19 July in connection with the incident. He was released on bail pending further investigation.

Police Sergeant Natalie Waller, of the Victim Based Crime Team, said: ‘We are appealing to anyone who saw this incident and has not yet spoken to the police to contact us. We also ask drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV to check for any relevant footage.’
