The Red Arrows

The stage is set for an exciting 2023 Folkestone Air Display in August.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be the first to take take to the skies at 1.25pm on Sunday 20 August – showcasing the wartime Lancaster, Hurricane, and Spitfire planes.

Next up, the Red Arrows will captivate spectators with astonishing aerobatics from 2.20pm to 2.50pm.

But the excitement doesn’t end there for the anticipated crowds lining The Leas and heading towards the Harbour area.

Breathtaking bi-plane thrills await with the Stampe display team and the jet-powered Pitts special.

At 5pm, a RAF Typhoon jet will conclude the event, delivering a brilliant exhibition of speed and agility. The Typhoon appearance is supported by Folkestone veterinary practice, Abbeywell Vets.

Current timing is approximate and will be confirmed closer to the date.

To ensure a smooth experience, residents and visitors are encouraged to use public transport on the day. Temporary car parks will also be available, as in previous years. Additional information will be provided as the event approaches.

Folkestone Festivals will organize food and music along The Leas on both Saturday and Sunday of the August weekend.
