Some sneaky crooks have been checking out vehicles and grabbing cash, tools and bags during June.

They struck in Birchington, Westgate-on-Sea and Ramsgate between 16 and 20 June 2023.

Inspector Jim Woodward, the boss of Thanet Community Safety Unit, said: ‘Don’t make it easy for them. Take your valuables with you or hide them well. Lock up tight and park smart. Look for a garage, a bright spot or a CCTV camera.’

If you spot anyone acting fishy around vehicles, tell us right away. Go to the Kent Police website or call 999 if it’s urgent.

You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent anonymously on 0800 555111, or complete the form on their website.
