A man from Dover has appeared in court charged with three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and three counts of assault, in relation to offences against three women and a girl in Whitstable and Canterbury in 2022 and 2023.

The 33-year-old, is also charged with controlling and coercive behaviour and two counts of criminal damage, following work by detectives from the East Kent Vulnerability Investigation Team.

Folkestone Magistrates’ Court

He appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday 30 June 2023 and was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 31 July.
