Charges have been authorised against two people after a man was found with serious injuries in Faversham.

Kent Police was called at 2.56am on Sunday 25 June 2023 after a man in his 50s sustained a head injury in Athelstan Road, Faversham.

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.

On Monday 26 June, a man aged 31 and a 34-year-old woman, both from Faversham, were each charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

They appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 27 June where they were each bailed to appear before the same court on Thursday 14 September.
