Police seek witnesses of homophobic assault by woman at Canterbury bus station

A woman allegedly punched a man in his 30s after hurling homophobic slurs at him at the bus station in St George’s Lane, Canterbury.

The reported hate-related attack took place between 10.40pm and 11.15pm on Wednesday 31 May 2023.

Kent Police are investigating the incident and appealing for any witnesses to come forward, especially three males who assisted the victim before he boarded a bus home.
