A 17-year-old motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car in Rainham.

The incident occurred at around 7.13pm on Tuesday 13 June 2023, when a red Yamaha motorbike collided with a black Vauxhall Astra on Rainham High Street.

The crash site was near the Asda petrol station, opposite the junction with Chapel Row.

The emergency services arrived and airlifted the boy to a London hospital.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) of Kent Police is looking into the cause of the crash and asking anyone who saw it or has CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.
