Officers investigating the death of a man on the Isle of Sheppey have arrested a suspect in connection with his murder.

Kent Police was called at around 9.40am on Sunday 11 June 2023, to an address in Fourth Avenue, Eastchurch.

Ambulance crews also attended, and a man, aged 35, was declared deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

At around 1pm on the same day, a man aged in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody.

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are now appealing for dashcam footage which may show the movements of any people or vehicles in the Warden Road and Fourth Avenue areas. They are particularly interested in footage between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, on Saturday 10 June.
