Officers investigating a report of an attempted robbery in Dartford are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.

The incident happened in St Vincent’s Road between 12.05am and 1.00am on Wednesday 11 January 2023. A man in his 40s was cycling along the road when it is alleged a group of people confronted him and attempted to steal his bike.

Investigating officer, PC Ellis Langford, said: ‘It is understood one of the suspects was holding a brick and another threw a milk crate during the incident.

‘We have been completing enquiries to track down and arrest those responsible and are now urging anybody with information to call our appeal line.’

Officers are also asking residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam to check for footage that may assist the investigation.
