Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire in Barton Road, Dover around 4.00am this morning, 20 January 2023.
At the height of the fire, seven fire engines and a height vehicle were on the scene.
The incident has been reduced to two fire engines and the height vehicle, and firefighters are currently (9.00am) damping down any remaining hot spots.
No injuries have been reported.
KFRS’ Volunteer Response Team were also called in to provide support and advice to a number of residents who were evacuated as a precaution.
The road was closed while firefighting operations were carried out but has now reopened.
The cause of the blaze is currently unknown.
