Officers have recovered two vehicles reported stolen including a Range Rover after proactive patrols stopped and searched a man in Swanley.
The man was arrested at around 1pm on Wednesday 14 December 2022 and subsequent enquiries led to the seizure of the car along with a motorcycle. It is alleged both vehicles had been stolen over the past week from the local area.
A 24-year-old man from Swanley was later charged with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle. He was further charged with possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
Following an initial hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 16 December, the suspect was remanded in custody and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday 12 January 2023.
