A suspected burglar found hiding inside a shop in Gravesend has been charged.
Hole in ceiling
Kent Police was called on the evening of Tuesday 6 September 2022 after a hole was found inside the ceiling of a shop in Milton Road. The victim also reported items had been stolen.
Suspect found behind door
Officers attended and a suspect, who was found inside the premises behind a door, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Haidau Benone, 50, of King Street, Gravesend, has been charged with one count of burglary. He was bailed upon charge and is due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 7 October.
