Officers investigating a collision involving an injury to a 12-year-old child have released an image of a man they want to identify.

The incident happened in Chatham at 8.10am in Bradfields Avenue, Chatham, on Tuesday 10 May 2022.

Serious leg and head injuries

The child was walking across the road when they were involved in a collision with a motorcyclist. They sustained serious leg and head injuries.

On Sunday 26 June officers arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving without a licence or insurance. He has since been released pending further enquiries.

Enquiries have been conducted and officers are now in a position to release an image of a man they are seeking to identify.
