Kent Fire and Rescue Service was sent to the scene of a crop fire off Swanton Lane between Lydden and Hawkinge just after 7.30pm yesterday evening, 12 August.
Twelve fire engines, an all-terrain vehicle and a bulk water carrier attended the incident, and crews used hose reel jets, a fogging unit and beaters to extinguish the blaze before damping down any hotspots.
Crews left the scene at 11.00pm.
There are no reports of any injuries and the cause is unknown.
