Witnesses are being urged to come forward after a man was knocked unconscious whilst leaving a music festival at Mote Park in Maidstone.

The victim in his 20s had been to the Glitterbomb event on Saturday 30 July 2022 and was walking towards the car park with his girlfriend between 8.30pm and 9pm when they were approached by a group of teenage boys riding bicycles and scooters.

After verbally abusing the couple, one member of the group is alleged to have punched the man to the ground causing him to suffer fractures to his skull and jaw.

Kent Police officers attended the scene and arrested a 15-year-old boy from Maidstone on suspicion of assault who has since been released from custody pending further enquiries.
