Trees on fire in Woodchurch spreads to parked cars

Four fire engines were called to reports of a blaze on Brook Street in Woodchurch, Ashford.

Fire crews and a bulk water carrier attended the incident which involved a long row of trees and a number of nearby cars.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used jets and a fogspike to extinguish the flames, before damping down any remaining hotspots. No casualties were reported at this incident.
