A man who carried out gardening work at a property in Gravesend has been charged with burglary.

The man approached the homeowners on 17 June 2022, where along with another man, offered to carry out some gardening services for a set fee.

While the men were gardening at the house in Valley Drive, Gravesend, a quantity of money was stolen from the property, along with a bank card, which was later used at a shop in the town.

Officers made enquiries and a man was arrested and later charged.

Daniel Johnson, 39, of Oak Road, Gravesend, has been charged with burglary and fraud.

Mr Johnson appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 22 June where he was bailed to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on 20 July.
