Residents in the Hawkinge area are being warned to be on their guard.
PCSO Nick Hazell has reported a ‘Neighbourhood Alert’ regarding a suspicious vehicle in the area.
He says: “Within the last week there has been a white Renault panel van seen acting suspiciously within the locality of Hawkinge, accessing driveways and front gardens.
“Be mindful of persons acting suspiciously in your area and if in doubt contact police via 101 or our online reporting tools on the Kent Police website.”
